Marriage Ceremonies

Marriage in the Muslim faith and tradition is a religious institution that is sacredly guarded and protected by Allah (SWT) with the involvement of the community. The couple that decides to form this religious union is primarily responsible for its success, with the support of the Imam, their family members, relatives and friends.

This ritual, if performed by MICA is preferably but not necessarily performed at the Masjid Tuubaa mosque in New York where such services have been performed since it began operating more than two decades ago. Religious weddings are preferably performed within the frame and limits of the Koran and Sunnah recommendations.

Therefore one must be prepared and be aware of the different aspects pertaining to these recommendations prior to the set date for the wedding ceremony.
